We hope all of you have a great holiday season and wonderful Christmas. Thanks so much for being part of the Cycling News community in 2025 and beyond!
We at Cyclingnews would like to know what, if any, coverage of the emerging discipline of enduro mountain bike racing you'd like to see. Are there any series or particular races that interest you? If so, what?
Are you going to be at US Collegiate mountain bike nationals on October 14-17 in Truckee, California?
Please take some photos and send them to us for posting on Cyclingnews. Mail to: cyclingnews@cyclingnews.com. Please also send captions and let us know how we should credit them.

The one thing I hear over and over again when I talk to the international racers is how much they love racing at Mont Sainte Anne. Doesn't seem to matter whether they are from Europe or North America.
That said, that kind of love of a particular course, especially as it will be "home turf"...
My understanding is that the Yumeya kit is both a cosmetic and a performance upgrade. Of course, the gold trim adds a bit of schnazziness, and I believe the kit also includes items like Titanium bolts and chain pins... which would shave weight off the overall kit.
Where I live, here on the East Coast of the US, there do seem to be fewer total MTB races over the course of a given season. I think the demise of many of the super-fun MTB races we used to have in the autumn is due to the timing overlap with the burgeoning cyclo-cross scene. 10-15 years ago...
Cyclingnews' video collection from the 2009 Crocodile Trophy is now online and growing. So far, it includes interviews with stage 1 winner Urs Huber (Team Stöckli-Craft) of Switzerland and stage 2 winner Bart Brentjens(Trek-Brentjens Mtb Racing Team) of the Netherlands after he finished second...
Hello loyal MTB readers,
I sometimes get the question, "how do I find your coverage for mountain bike race XX" once it's off the homepage or mtb homepage?
Don't worry the coverage hasn't gone anywhere. We don't get rid of anything!
Since June 2009
If you want to find races since we...
It's interesting to see a sort-of retired pro mountain biker taking up an important global issue like climate change. Of course, we'll miss Leuchs on the international racing circuit, too.

We don't pay to watch nearly all MTB events in the US. Many of the courses cover too much ground to control access and there aren't enough spectators to justify a pay to watch model.
Maybe that will change in the future as the sport continues to grow.
Some mountain bike races are quite...
You're welcome! We're excited to cover it.
I see Monique Merrill's name in the relay part of the results section.

MTB events now appearing on homepage
Good news. You will now see the major MTB events linked on the Cyclingnews home page.
Many of you expressed concern that the MTB coverage had been relegated off the front page to it's own separate page. That was just temporary while we worked out a...
Check out this story? What do you think? http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/giove-in-custody-for-marijuana-drug-charges. It's kind of interesting that the news comes on the same day as another gravity racer accepted a suspension after testing positive for metabolites of marijuana (see...
