did not see this coming. he wanted to move from RSNT. maybe he was thinking abour Rabobank, but then they pulled the sponsorship...

no team wanted him and with good reason. what an idiot. one of the worst mentality's in the peloton and zero selfreflection

Joost Posthuma (31) RadioShack-Nissan Trek calls it quits.

Always liked him as a rider, too bad to see him go! One must admit that he showed little to nothing these past two years but he also had bad luck with injury and illness ... in the current system, that is deadly!

Alessandro Bertolini (41) is done an age related implication.

Team Exergy frees riders from contract reeling from failed sponsorship,
another wild-goose chase victim of the inquisition.

Seven years to the day after the death of Charly Gaul, another Luxembourg cycling legend passed away at the age of 90 yesterday: Bim Diederich.

topelement.jpg

He is the grandfather of current Radioshack rider Laurent Didier. Until the very end he kept very active, collecting cycling related articles, visiting races and even getting on the bike himself.

He wore the yellow jersey in 1951 and won stages in 1950, 51 and 52. Among his rivals, he was known for being the "Duc de Grammont" for having conquered the Mur de Grammont.

carrara was a good domestique and the type of rider every team needs. ofc due to the stupid UCI point system those extremely useful riders don't score points and end up on this kind of situations. . .

sad to see

that has nothing to do with it

only the first 10 riders of a team get their points valued for team rankings. so a team can choose 20 riders without any points if they want
