I can't see Porte being worried by Thomas on form based upon anything I have seen in the last few months. But you are right more likely decided by a mishap.

They'll have a lot of testing this season. Paris-Nice already had an ITT early in the race. Similar is expected with Itzulia (which starts with an ITT), Dauphine and the Tour.
