You really have to wonder what everyone except Movistar, Sunweb and maybe Quickstep is thinking. For example, what is Bahrein doing? I'm starting to fear Nibali is gonna do exactly nothing.
Where should he be doing it?

Maquisard? Rosier?
Ofc he shouldn't attack that early, but his team could make sure Movistar doesn't have a fully rested team at their disposal to chase everyone after RaF.
My guess is ride Redoute as hard as possible with 4/5 guys

Ok, well id be surprised if this race ends any differently compared to last years.

We will get attacks on the flat now. Letting some go, but all well under control.
People will get dropped, but nobody serious will attack and stay away is my guess.

Every single race organized by ASO has become a boring fest. They should learn a lot from RCS

Sagan would have won easily today.
Like he easily won Milan San Remo all these years.

Here he will probably the only fast man left with valverde and matthews and if they race like this they won't drop him.

Perhaps some commenters here should consider watching something like the Madison or Basketball instead. If you can't enjoy the beauty and slow burn of a race like this, perhaps road cycling isn't the sport for you.
