Gaviria in tears, making a mistake in the final few hundred meters touching GVA's wheel. I feel for the guy.

Wow Demare, wow
Just to remind you, he was back together with Mathews

ps: Sad that Gaviria crashed mostly because we now can't make fun of the people saying he has no chance in such a long race :D

I feel more for the guys whose sprint he messed up through no fault of their own.

God damn it. Ballsy from Kwiatkowski. Lacked a bit of power on Poggio, but I think if Cancellara didn't accelerate and brought him back, Michal would have won his first monument :/

Demare out of nowhere, nice win for him though

Too bad for Gaviria and Sagan though........ Impressive from Gaviria too be there nonetheless, he might have won MSR as a neo pro if he hadn't crashed!

You can never say that. You don't know if the fatigue in his legs caused his lack of concentration. De are very impressive.

No way, the biggest gap he had was 5 seconds. That would have been swallowed up easily in a sprint.

poor sagan? he should go 100m earlier that incident and not waiting he was totally useless today, did not tried anything just waited for others, he lost his chance 500 to go I suppose he did not have legs today

I thought he played it well. He was probably the fastest sprinter in the lead group and was in a decent position when he had to take evasive action. Just unlucky today.

I like how Cancellara uses his attack to bring back the peloton rather than trying to win

Yeah, same as in Ponferrada.....
The group behind him wouldn't cooperate together if he still had 4-5 second gap in last km
