Wow. What a beautiful and deserved victory for Van Summeren. Tactically genius by Garmin-Cervelo to use Hushovd as a "super-Pozzato", although it ****ed me off...

Nobody said he should. But neither should Canc.

what? they race to win as teams. Thor had team mates up the road. doesn't need to ride being world champ or not.

He should if he wanted to win. He knew the tactics that were at play (having used them to his advantage in the past), and took a gamble that it would come back together. It almost worked for him.

people need to stop bad mouthing thor. It is team tactics lol.
Yeah, Thor rode for the team, but he will never get a better chance to win PR with Tommeke out and Cance marked so closely (and in a **** team).

Yep. Given the circumstances, both Garmin and Canc's tactics turned out to be the right ones.

Vansummeren deserved that by aggresive riding so well done to him.
Hushovd was lame so I'm glad he didnt win. He even got burned off by an HTC rider at the end.

Garmin played it excellently. They had Hushovd for the sprint and marking Fabian. Rasch and Van Summeren covered moves or pulled if needed. Got to give major props to PVP for orchestrating the win. With Thor and Fabian watching each other Garmin was still able to take advantage of the situation.

I really like that winner! Van Summeren worked so hard over the last years, he fully deserves it. That's just great ;).

I also like to see Greipel finishing 21th after even working for Reolandts and being in the break for 150km. Good place for his first Paris-Roubaix, he can definately do well in the future at this race and he showed his critics that he isn't a pure sprinter!

In hindsight, I think Cance should have tried to bridge after all. Once he stopped working, he never caught up with the leaders. Also, he was able to ride Thor off his wheel in the end. He might have been able to do the same after bridging.

Klemme apparently had some bad luck, otherwise he might have been there longer. However, except for Matti Breschel Saxobank wasn't that much better last year - the race situation favored Cancellara more.

Again: I'm happy for Van Summeren, always great when a rider wins that has spent his career helping others.

She is just a regional "politician". Nobody knows she is. Quite sure they have those in your country :). Also the cute ones.

This was probably thors best chance to win but i dont blame him for sitting on the wheels he will get beaten real badly next year by the usual suspects.
