Good win against one of the thinnest monument fields in memory. You can only beat the guys who line up against you, so chapeau to him. Hopefully Evenepoel is ok.

Wow, really puts into context how strong Remco was in Poland a week ago when he made Fuglsang look like a junior chasing him. Good to hear the encouraging news about his health and hope he makes a full recovery soon.

Weak field, weak race. At least the winner already has a monument under his belt, otherwise it would really be marked with an asterisk.

Shame for Bennett, but TJV's winning more than enough these days.
And Fuglsang clearly the strongest today.

Congrats.

Hoping for Remco's statement later this evening.

I so not understand Fuglsang's career.

You have to remember, when he came up, all the big teams were "all for one". There was no "multiple captains" and no "wolf pack riding".

First Sastre, then the Schlecks, then Nibali, Fuglsang was almost always a domestique in service of a dominating captain - a very good domestique - but still just a domestique.
