Crud! It's all about to be brought back :(

The gap seems to be pretty steady.

In fact imo Cancellara and Sagan are soon entering desperation territory.

I honestly think Stannard is the favourite from here. Boonen and Panzerwagon are working hard, and Stannard has been resting this whole time in that main group. Vanmarcke's been working, Canc has worked, Sagan has worked, Oss has worked. In fact, the other main contender who hasn't worked is in fact Rowe, also from Sky.
Doubt it. This will be won in a sprint I think

What planet are you on, dude? That still means Jan van Stannaertx can win.

And Terpstra. He's in a great position here. When it all comes back together, he'll be fresher than anyone having just sat in the peloton following Canc and Sagan.

Kristoff too.

Amazing how Sagan and Cancellara have to work themselves, eventhough numerous other teams have strength in numbers in that group...
Even continental teams have more riders there. Where are Theuns, Stuyven...?

Both that and the fact that said teams seem unwilling to actually take part in the chase

It feels like Martin has been riding for the last 100km.

He's such a beast, does he just not give a *** about races like this or why doesn't he ever go for the win himself?

Sagan has no chance of winning from here given how much he is working. Needs to be more patient. Either do a huge attack on a section of pave to get on the wheel of the back riders in the front group, or just sit in the group he is in now and hope it comes back together. Don't pull on the front for ages on the asphalt.

Kristoff with bike problem... so no help from Katusha for Sagan's group. Plus Jumbo will work hard once Sep is in the Tommeke's bunch.

I wish they'd start to do so...

Why should other teams help Sagan and Cancellara? They have to make the jump to Boonen group soon or the race is lost for them.

Who's going to work though? So many teams with riders either in the break or the Boonen group. They aren't going to pull it back just for Sagan and Canc to ride away from them near the end. The only teams that can chase are Trek, Tinkoff and Giant.

Group Sagan/Cancellara is making up ground, about 45 seconds the gap.
It should all come back together when Martin is cooked. Sky and Lotto-NL need to really commit numbers to the front now, it'll be too late once Martin has gone. They need his power if the break is to stay away - should let him recover for 10 mins.
