It's almost like Sky and Lotto don't want to win the race. They may well need Martin's power later to stay clear; crazy not to use up some of their lightweight doms now, who won't last the distance anyway.

They don't want to sprint against Boonen but they haven't stopped to consider that there's still riders up the road

Should worry about that later anyway. It would be a lot easier to drop Boonen in the last 20km, than it would be to drop Boonen, Stybar, Trentin, Terpstra, Sagan and Canc.

He hasn't been taking turns in the break for a while and they are nearly caught anyway. He should be able to work for a bit when they are caught.
