The more I think about this I don't understand why Quickstep are chasing down so many moves, I mean they are chasing groups of 2 or 4 no name riders down? Surely that would be ideal to let go. The issue is the longer they leave it the more chance the break has as suddenly its not 257km in the wind but 150km ...

Tommeke Boonen hopefully.

If not, one of the young Belgians, either Stuyven or Naesen. And if not one of them, I wouldn't be too sad about seeing GVA finally net a monument, he deserves it.

Just as I thought the break had (finally) been established, and looked away for a bit, they almost get caught.
Or maybe the 25 seconds were a mistake...

A lot tighter race than last Sunday.
The break will finally get away, I think. Good move by Katusha duo.

Nah...

If the break isn't formed before the cobbles come, the cobbles will be pretty crazy methinks. If people are already racing seriously on he first cobbles (to form a break) it's also better for other riders to try and stay in the front in case there will be serious splits and with everybody trying to stay at the front, it will be even worse.

Katusha has a plan.
They're always at the front and tried to put men in the breakaway.

Looks to me like they want to keep Tony in place to launch him after Arenberg.
