I don't know if you're kidding. That's a list of classics riders, not just sprinters.tobydawq said:carton said:KRISTOFFAnderis said:Is there, apart from TdF, a stage race in the calendar with better sprinting field than this?
GAVIRIA
SAGAN
PHINNEY
HAYMAN
STUYVEN
OSS
DILLIER
NAESEN
STANNARD
ROWE
What strikes me most is that only the first three of those guys have a real shot at getting a result. I think some guys are here for the sun, surf and the IPAs.
What kind of list is that? You think Hayman and Phinney are better sprinters than Ewan, Kittel, Cavendish, Walscheid, McLay and Arndt who are also participating but not on your "sprinter list".

Yep, pretty much all of the major sprinters are also here, but at least they're going to get a shot at a some wins. I mean, given the sheer number of sprinters here, they are probably going to get their chance to sprint for the win in every flat stage.
Honestly If we weren't all scattered around Europe we should've organised somethingRedheadDane said:What stages would you suggest I definitely have to stay up and watch the race?
Stage 2, possibly stage 3, and stage 6?
(To be fair, I'm probably gonna stay up every night, but if I have to give up some nights...)
I would say there's little need to stay up for the three pan-flat sprint stages. The other four will be relevant.RedheadDane said:What stages would you suggest I definitely have to stay up and watch the race?

Probs, there are also more radical solutions.RedheadDane said:GenericBoonenFan said:Honestly If we weren't all scattered around Europe we should've organised somethingRedheadDane said:What stages would you suggest I definitely have to stay up and watch the race?

Would that "something" involve drinking a whole load of coffee to stay awake?

Don't start snorting cocaine to stay up for the Tour of California man. It's not worth it. If you'd live on the other side of the world and it was necessary during the cobbled classics season, okay, but it's just the ToC man, don't do it!

Slim. 2 years ago the route to South Lake was a little less demanding, and he lost contact with the main group just in the finale. I can’t see him being up there this time around.Dragontearz said:What are the chances for Sagan to survive stage 6 till finish?
