Does Campenaerts think he has won already?

So glad Küng beat his time. Campenaerts is creating himself a persona in which he acts and sees himself as the time-trialist to beat. Which, apart from the comedy value, is kind of pathetic. Guy has 2 national titles, 2 European titles no one really cares about and one(!) win in a UCI-race.
Oh that's right, here we go again  if Sagan would've done something like this you would've all said it was part of his nature but when another rider plays around (VDP, Campenaerts, Ludvigsson, Hansen) a bit y'all think he's an arrogant ***.

I don’t mind it when someone who actually wins races does it, but what kind of clown do you have to be to do this halfway through a time-trial? It’s the same boring shtick time and time again. It’s just pathetic, especially when you think that apart from like 5 TT’s a year Campenaerts is totally useless as a WT-rider.

He was just celebrating a good ride.

This tells me you don't watch cycling then. Campenaerts is the sole reason De Ghendt won his Tour de Romandie stage. Campenaerts rode so hard that day that he couldn't sleep because of his cramps that night and didn't manage to start the next day. He was in the breakaway all day during the NC (I will excuse you for not knowing this) and he was the only rider of that big breakawAy that was still competitive in the final. He's important to his sponsors,h e's very driven and the only reason he has so few victories is because most race organisers fail to implement heavy and OG TT's in their races.

Wow, you managed to name one example in which he did useful work for a teammate and he had to leave the race because of it

Re: Re:

So during the last 12 months I gained a lot of weight again, but then I decided enough was enough and bought myself a home-trainer to exercise when I watch cycling (and comedy shows). I've lost 6kg already in 10 days. The hardest part is my ass that hurts lol.

Probably 4 kg of water weight, but keep it up :)

Nah, I do 3-4 hours of exercise a day, so I burn a lot of calories. I saw a noticeable drop in my body fat percentage as well.

I don't just ride a bike, I also swim, walk and run. I like the variation, so I don't use the same muscle groups too much in quick succession.

I'm also on a pretty strict "diet". Lot's of veggies, fruit and some fish / lean meat. Outside of fruit I completely cut sugar out of my diet (sugar being my biggest weakness).

Losing weight has never been a problem for me, it's maintaining that lifestyle once the weight has been dropped that is difficult. I use food as a comfort when I'm feeling anxious, stressed (I have an anxiety disorder).

Much love and support on your quest to a healthy lifestyle

Thanks all. :)

I think Matthews is now the top favorite to win this race. Other cyclists will have to try from far now, I hope Lampaerts can do something special with QS on the final stage.

No.

And keep up the good work El Pistolero. I know it is hard to keep up that lifestyle, but at least you’re willing to keep trying.
