Yeah and he doesn't have a permanent solution for that injury. He is riding with a bit of pain atm.
Don't think Clement will figure this race

He anesthetized it in Hel van het Mergelland. Worked pretty well, as he immediately picked up the KoM prize. Don't know if he'll do it every day, though.

Which is exactly what I said before the race even started :D

I see Theo Bos winning the first two stages, apart from Brown and Steegmans he has no competition here

Thank you, thank you

You're such a visionary, pair Brown to a random sprinter and you know he's going to come out the weakest ;)

What are the odds on Brown running Bos into the barriers on the next flat stage (if he can manage to actually get alongside him, that is)?

The odds are second to none, because the "if" you included is never going to happen :p

Looking at the ticker, it looks like Rabobank blew the race up in the last few kilometers. I was wondering why AC was placed so highly at the sprint finish, but that would explain why.

Really sucks that this race doesn't have a consistent live stream feed.

Yeah Rabobank decided it would be a good idea to split up the peloton and try and suprise some GC riders and maybe even Bos, but Bos was there. According to what I read on people who could follow the stream, a small group returned but certainly not the entire peloton

Portuguese riders

The Portuguese riders are doing well in Castilla y Leon... too bad they're noted as spaniards...

FYI - Tiago Machado, José Mendes, Filipe Cardoso, Edgar Pinto are Portuguese :) ... so, if you please, post their nationality correctly guys...

Contador 6th in the sprint.

Destroys Machadooo who can only manage 9th.

Why bother with the Green Jersey at the Tour when it is obviously Contadors for the taking

Cancellara as a GT contender my ***. The real metamorphosis will be Contador becoming a field sprinter :D

Yeah, only 44 in the same time because Rabobank made echelons.
And we all know, when they do that on the flat, guys from Colombia get completely lost.

Slim, but possible. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
French tv (sport+) have the weekend stages live, so they will have to get things sorted.
Also Sport+ often gets feeds posted on Justintv etc.;)

Soler? At least he doesn't appear to have fallen off this time. That's his normal echelon position!

always good to see a dutch win, irregardless of the competition :p

I'm dutch too and I don't give a **** if a rider wins with a dutch passport. it's the person and type of rider that counts. not whose flag you have standing by your name. that is so lame

Yes Gerrit-Jan/Drunkensailor, that is true ;)

But I always liked Bos, talked with him at the 6-days a year before the road switch, he was already severely doubting his track career then. Real nice guy (which is why the Impey incident was so strange to me)

I think this clip of Theo Bos after Paris-Roubaix is fantastic: clearly exhausted, and barely able to produce a story that makes sense, but savouring the moment.

oh Im not saying he's not a nice guy. but then you should rather say I like bos because he's a good guy instead of he happens to be born within the same borders as I am ;)
