Nice win for Anton. Thought Menchov might have done better though..

Me too, I am a bit disappointed actually. Do you know how far behind he was?

Anton was quite strong today! Very nice stage finish with all the attacks to drain Contador. Being from South America i was quite happy to see Juan Mauricio riding strong again! He may have a chance in the Giro if he continues this way.

Soler looks on course for the Giro

He is indeed, and i'm glad he's back in good form & being competitive.:) I just pray he won't get sick or have an accident prior to the Giro....

Hope for him he doesn't get caught in the crosswinds, up in Holland, like he did yesterday.

Menchov rarely digs deep in this kind of training ride.

Ok, do you think he will blast the ITT tomorrow or are we looking at a top-10 performance?

Good race. And thanks Swordsman for the link. How do you find those things?!

Could it be that Contador wasn't much interested in closing down Anton because he figures on easily taking back more than 13 sec in the ITT?

I don't think he had it in him today, I thought he looked pretty close to his limit. But that's just my opinion.
