Oscar not a happy bunny. Bad blood developing.
Big Magnus said Valverde's move was just as bad as yesterday!:D
Freire's got no chance of an appeal against God.

In the same way Freire beated Valverde yesterday.

If the jury is anywhat decent, they'll do the same as yesterday

Nah.....I wish.
Looked to me as if Freire did the equivalent of a dive in the box.
Ran out of road.
Was Valverde's sprint straight? Nope.
Right hand bend, shortest route.
Piti came from one side of the road to the other!

Same yesterday. I'm sorry but if the jury is straight with their rules, the decision should be clear.

But hey, Valverde is god. He can do anything without punishment

Hmmm.... Just saw the replay. As Freire is about to close the distance on the inside Valverde continues his move to the barriers. He definitely doesn't 'stick to his line'.

It's probably not quite as bad as Freire's move yesterday, but it probably should be sanctioned. Not that that is likely to happen, Valverde is of course the chosen one.

I agree. It looks like he moves over to pinch Oscar a bit, which is all he needed with the remaining distance to the line.

EDIT: Valverde was VERY emphatic with his fist thrusts.

Class by Freire: "I won't protest, because it is the same sprint as yesterday". Making his point to the jury and sore loser Valverde as well

Good move by him... But like you said, if the jury values their integrity they relegate Valverde regardless of whether there's a protest.

talking about a swerve...

good to know that the 2 are good buddies (or was it their wives...)

Did you hear that on Sporza by any chance? About their kids playing together in a hotel lobby somewhere? The way Wuyts told that story made it sound like they were in Al Qaeda. :D

I know I did.....

I don't see why it's so noteworthy though that all three of us remembered it though :p

Maybe he can play the Thor 'I didn't protest, my team did' Hushovd card.
That's not even what he said. He said that Cavendish was disqualified before Cervelo even protested anyway. Which is true.
