Ironclad performance guys.

Anyway, Lampre for Cunego, who couldn't follow on the 1st stage. Oh well, we're used to Italian teams working the whole day and then failing (Liquigas in Belgium...) :)

The little prince feels the need to be crowned again...

post-race interview 'blah blah, investigations, blah, set something straight, blah innocent, blah, anger motivates me, blah this is for the team, blah and they worked really hard'

Катюша are putting the hammer down and really thinning out the peloton, at this rate they will have the break back well before the final hill.

I wonder if anyone is going to try something on the second last climb, instead of the last

I was hoping for that to happen. A select group that takes off and then battles it out on the lats climb. Perhaps the only way to roughen up Valverde, so he can't unleash his sprint?

Schleck the Younger joins the offensive.... Really early. Who's the Катюша man? Botcharov?

EDIT: Gesink too. Must feel very good.... I hope.

Wow Gesink was impressive, too early maybe though?

My thoughs exactly... I can't see how he can keep this up for another 20kms but then still be able to stick to Valverde when he attacks.

It didn't even look like an attack.
Gesink was just riding as if it was a training ride on an early sunday
