If I had Valverde's legal team, I probably wouldn't give a shit either.
Or Valverde's racing team, for that matter. BMC apparently withdraws its riders when a doping investigator so much as farts in their direction, whereas Caisse doesn't give a flying f@#k.

Caisse are answerable to RFEC. Do you think RFEC even knows what a doping investigator is? Maybe they'd withdraw riders when a doping investigation got underway if they knew what one was. In the meantime, they'll bring Rubén Plaza back every couple of years just to check how he's doing.

BMC are wildcard - they wont want to jeopardize their participation in the Giro and especially in the Tour. How many are 'inactive' from Lampre?

BMC needs wildcards to enter races, that's the whole thing.

Come on az-kaaf, don't compare bmc with valverde and caisse d epargne who is a SPANISH team!

Indeed. don't compare. The people involved at BMC have overseen a truckload more doping cases than the ones at Caisse. The spanish would probably be insulted by the comparison.

See? It works both ways ;)

Txurruka in the break AGAIN. His third one this tour. This guy is like some sort of Basque Jens Voigt.

are you reffering to bmc from phonak days?

riders/ds's from that team

morabito
lelangue
moos

isso, there is solid evidence on valv. none of the riders and even ballan and santambrogio have a blood bag linked to them. bmc pulled riders straight out of races. caisse still yet to do so

Just saying it's not black or white. You can see it several different ways.

And if BMC isn't Phonak v2.0, I'm Rölf Sörensen's ego

Completley different steup and the riders and staff are mostly completly different. We should really take this to another thread in the clinic as this is for the vuelta al pais vasco.

It looks like a Rodriguez day, but he was dissapointing yesterday. Still, this is a perfect wall for Rodriguez. In 2008 he nearly dropped Contador there

watching stage 5, interesting to note that there are 2 Euskatel guys doing most of the work in the break, while back in the field there are 2 Euskatel guys pulling the field, with Valverde's whole team on their wheels.

could he have saved himself a little yesterday to get a stage victory here?

well, Txurruka's only there for the KOM points, I believe. Txurruka's not a Basque Jens Voigt, he's a Basque Jens Voigt, Thomas Voeckler, Sylvain Chavanel and David Moncoutié all in one. Feisty little rider with a lot of fight. My favourite rider.

If the peloton chases, there will be attacks from those who want the stage and those who want the GC. If they don't chase, there will only be the second kind of attacks. Just guess what Valverde prefers
