We'll probably get to read on the Rabosport site that Gesink did the fastest climb, the fastest descent, and again the fastest climb on that final ramp... all for nothing. Jeez Rabo, buy some decent tires, FFS.
Yeah, we all know Gesink will never win

10 years from now we'll all be like ACF94.....

I feel sick at the thought already.

:p

By that time Mollema will have won the Giro and Dekker's comeback will have resulted in 9 monuments and 3 TDF victories...

:(

Gesink will probably take time on both Horner and Valverde in tomorrow's TT... just to rub it in: "See fans, I could have won, but I just decided not to! Bwahahaha!"

LOL. You guys never miss a chance to clobber the cobber.
Poor old Cuddles.

Heck, better Bobby G to flat than to have broken his CB, no?
It's only Pais Vasco, not Le Tour....

Which is why we're all cracking wise about it. If it happens in le Tour while he's in a good position I'll cry though.

It always happens to him. Tirreno last year, Vuelta last year, Tour last year, Paris Nice 08 was also a bit unlucky, and now another one to add.

I'd pretty much burn my own house if he has bad luck in the Tour again

True, but it's getting to be a pattern. He could have won Paris-Nice, podiumed in the Vuelta, done God-knows-what in the Tour, if not for his bad luck.

edit: and I forgot about last year's Tirreno, where he was the fastest up the Montelupone... just way behind the winner.

He fell ON the climb.
Seriously, what the f.ck?

You are now, officially nought for two!
Both him and Frank S, down in the same race.
Who would have thunk it?:p
(must have been pushed by one of those pesky Basqards:D)

It was probably some English speaking rider. I can't stand those guys.

Gesink was 50 seconds behind Valverde on the top of the climb, he finished at 46 at the finish

Must have ridden a helluva a downhill and final part.
