Very quick circuit down at Willy and hard to catch them as they flew by. Durbridge and Lane seemed to be doing the lions share of the work on the front and decimated the field. I saw 3 of the NSWIS riders drop out early due to the Greenedge pace being put on. I couldn't see any team support for Ewan, he just reminded me of Robbie McEwan sitting on the main sprinters and was able to find the right wheel. Great signs. Interesting to see that Sutton says that Ewan can climb "all day". Maybe he isn't the next Cavendish but is the next Evans

He is small, McEwan looked big next to him.

It felt a bit like the changing of the guard - McEwen's last Bay Crit series at age 39, Caleb Ewan's first at age 17.

Greenedge had the whole team on the front for a few laps. It was windy there today, looked like hard work, a lot dropped out along the way.

Nice win, but why has he Saxo Bank gloves and socks on, hope he will sign some day for Bjarne Riis and Saxo-Bank. He´s talent and young, he fast in a sprint. GOOD SIGNS

I second both these comments. Law is a good sprinter ( shows a lot of potential )
Giacoppo could only take it if it is hard enough and Genesys have others.

It's the 5th of January for goodness sake. I know as well as everyone else that Greenedge have a rubbish squad, but perhaps we could get to some real races before starting to lay into them?
