Really didnt want Degkenkolb to win.

I cheer against the young guys. Their time will come. Degkenkolb has had a lot of victories already. Really wanted Duqe or Dumoloin or Voeckler, especially with their teams not being PT.

Another HTC win.

Nice for John to say in the interview though to say he wants to make cycling big in Germany.

he won more than enough this year...
Duque or Dumuloin are another story

Purito was 4th, any of the GC men caught out with little gaps?

JVdB will hold on with 3km rule?

Looks like Cuddles lost time

@hitch, fair enough. I personally love seeing youth win.

I am relieved about this result.

I very almost put a bet on dumolin and martens today
I hate when that happens and they win.

Looks like VDB lost some time. Cadel evans lost some time too. as he was at the back of the group on the final climb.

I thought Dumuloin would win, this finish suits him a lot.

damn it he was at the back of the group. Sometimes Im very puzzled about BMC. They finally got back after the break and they dont put evans on the front of the group. Have been quite worried about them as they did the same thing on stage 1.

Incredible explosion of pure power from Degenkolb.

Vanendert 6th, very surprising.

Samu punctured too in the finale, apparently.

ever consider evans didn't wanna waste too much energy. Sure he wants to do good here, but taking unnnecssary risks and efforts levels isn't worth it with the tour in mind.

Degenkolb looks and sounds like a 30-year-old. What a guy. Impressive stuff.

They did ride balls out to get back to the front echelon, so I got the impression as well that he was concerned with GC.

VDB had a mechanical (?) before the start of the last climb. He'll probably get same time as Evans,

But he lost those seconds cheaply.

BMC were at the front after they came back. If Evans lost time it's likely because he was completely cooked.

hmmmmm, Hitch you are not fair. Voeckler has 8 wins this year. Degenkolb only 5

Yes but that was not my only variable. Degkenkolb is young and riders for the biggest team around. Voeckler is old and rides for a team that would not exist without him;)

Probably because he doesn't speak English so he wasn't a part of Sky's tea-party at the back of the peloton.

Wish I understood Vinofrench :(

These small gaps to each other don't matter too much as if someone wants to attack on the weekend they should be able to take good time.

yeah but a few seconds compared to a minute is not so bad.
