Don't worry, they'll show him for a bit from Wiggins' motorcycle when he overtakes Evans.

lololololol

Also lol at the comment about a plane for his dog.

Reuben... getting annoyed at someone for making snide comments directed toward you on race threads and then calling them out a few minutes later probably doesn't help your case much.

Overall, there seems to be a lot more frequent instances of attacking/degrading a rider simply because another poster on this board who annoys you likes them. Not from you in particular, but in general.

I think our German friend has been what's instigated that... but I'm wondering if we can all start behaving a bit less like children again... at least by the time the Tour comes up.

Relax. Ruben and me just joke with eachother.

He is perfectly within his right to make that comment seeing as his guy is beating my guy. Small rivalries. Thats part of the forum.

With Bavarian rider, there is some trolling, thats different.

JvdB with an absolute horrid time +1.30

A full 11 seconds behind Gesink the time trialling demi-god who has been resting for two days. :)

It's bad, not horrid (yet).

It may be dryer but only EBH and Thomas seem to have made time on Martin in the last section.

Rohregger also made up time.

Which is somewhat difficult to believe.

Gesink didn't do all that much better at first time check?

a bit better, not much.

I didn't say Gesink had a good ride either tho :p
He did in the end, finished strongly. Maybe VdB can do the same.

It would be bad if JvdB didn't finish strongly
He has much better conditions for the 2nd uphill and the 2nd downhill than Gesink had.

By all means with these conditions differences he should never lose

Yes, but I think Gesink did well, so I'm not worried yet about VDB :p

It's too bad Wiggins didn't start behind VDB instead of in front. Otherwise he could have leeched on and own

Lately it's seemed to me as if it's moved from good natured ribbing to angry exchanges. Ah well, I should probably just keep my mouth shut. While I have opinions about riders and have some I like a bit... I'm not a "super-fan" like some are on here.

Now... as to the topic of the thread... can someone enlighten me about Riblon? I know he's a solid climber and okay at times in the ITT... but his finish here seems a bit out of character. Just carrying great form at the moment?
