He also had no GC to worry about so he went all out on the descent.

So you think he'd risk crashing out of the Tour for a TT stage win?
Besides: Martin can't even go all out on decents...

Ugh Kirby already thinking Wiggins will win the tour, fml..

I turned off the audio yesterday after he went on and on about how the magnificent Sky team had the Tour for the taking, or something to that extent. I have no problem with anyone who is focussed on folk or teams they would naturally gravitate towards, but it's the blind talking up of past results and future prospects that really grates with me. Passion is one thing, treating me like an idiot is quite another. His volume button seems to jump from 6 to 11 the moment the predictable English-speaking eye candy comes onto the screen.

So? Tony Martin is scared in descents in the rain even worse normally. At least, last time I saw Martin descending....

VDB2 16th. Strong finish! I have to say

Martin's descending in Paris Nice in crap conditions was outstanding.

Top 10 GC:

Wiggins
Evans 1'11"
Brajkovic 1'21"
Vino 1'56"
Costa 2'12"
Thomas 2'25"
VDB 2'28"
Riblon 2'45"
Hermans 2'46"
Coppel 2'52"

A minute is no-where near enough for Wiggo to win the overall, even if he climbs like he did two years ago. I suspect he'll lose a smattering of seconds on Friday and then lose the jersey to Evans or Brajkovic on Saturday and drop off the podium on Sunday.

Hate Carlton Kirby talking about how Wiggins will rise up among the favourites for the Tour because of this TT
Also talking like he has pretty much won this Dauphine

But who?

Does Evans want to give energy attacking?
Does Vandenbroeck want to?
Etc.

Can't see it happening, only J-Rod has nothing to lose anyway and he is now 4 minutes behind
