Wiggens slower than Roche in the final section

Roche only lost 4 seconds in Evans in the final section, funny that, considering Evans was only just ahead of him  (Nothing against Roche, just shows the benefits of having a rider just ahead of you, even if you are not close enough for it to be considered drafting)

I'm amazed people are even considering the possibility of Wiggins NOT losing this. Saturday's climb is much, much too tough for him.

i honestly think he can lose this if they attack the mountains hard enough
The guys behind him aren't guys who usually attack in the mountains. However, Wiggins could crack even if no one attacks.

But who?

Does Evans want to give energy attacking?
Does Vandenbroeck want to?
Etc.

Can't see it happening, only J-Rod has nothing to lose anyway and he is now 4 minutes behind

wiggo will win .

PROFILKMS.jpg
14.8km @ 5.4%

not saying he won't win but a lot of climbing is to come.

well purito will attack early on. if he cracks wigans and some1 like evans or vino just follow his wheel. . .

i dunno tbh but i think its possible, the steepest MTF should be the best place to crack wigans i guess.

maybe costa shows some climbing legs now that he lost a few kilos? he wants a spot for the tour squad so he has to show himself, more then he already has ofc

Can see Brajkovic taking the overall again. Evans isn't going to attack too much, nobody below that is close enough/good enough at climbing to take the time back.

Evans wants this I recon

so will try

Jani may as well even if he says he is looking forward to the tour

a Win is a Win.

although Kirby has got Wigins winning this, the tour and even the 400m at the athletics in the Olympics - he is a muppet, the scot not bad though

Voeckler also had a fairly blatent tow off Brajkovic judging from the times. Not like anyone is going to stop him in France

I think we can safely say now that Sky are the favourites for the TTT at TDF.
Maybe, but the ability to ride a good prologue is generally more indicative of TTT strength.

I dunno, Cancellara will be hard to beat, HTC will have their lead-out crew in full effect, and Saxo are sure to go balls to the wall. Garmin might not suck either.

damn i missed my prediction on cadel getting a top 5 by 3 seconds. Really hopes cadel gets the gc victory. Hope he attacks or at least follow the wheels of the attackers in the mountains because wiggins isnt that strong in the mountains.

If the Allevard is ridden aggressively Wiggins will drop, no way he'll hold on!
If Wiggins is having a an average day and they don't ride it aggresively then I think he could be shelled though Brad has very strong form atm.

He could win quite easily if he's motivated to win and Evans, Brajkovic, Vino etc decide to save it for the Tour. Vino might try but I'm not sure he has the form

I didn't think he would win before the Dauphine, and I don't think he will now.

decent ride by him :)

Having much better weather conditions and only finishing 10 seconds ahead isn't exactly a good sign for someone who won 2.30 minutes on the same rider last year in the Tour ;) also considerings Gesink lesser form in this Dauphine...

Wiggins, EBH, Geraint Thomas, Henderson and even Flecha can all do really good prologues.

Vino's saving it for the Tour -- his last race :(
