Having much better weather conditions and only finishing 10 seconds ahead isn't exactly a good sign for someone who won 2.30 minutes on the same rider last year in the Tour ;) also considerings Gesink lesser form in this Dauphine...

Will you 2 let it go till the tour starts at least.

I wonder if I may need to direct people to my blog post earlier this year where I suggested that Brad should target his form for the Dauphine or tour de Suisse and try and win those, and sacrifice Tour form slightly in favour of supporting Uran.

I don't think that's a realistic expectation even if objectively you'd be right. I bet it's far more valuable to Team Sky PR wise to have Wiggins peak for the Tour even if turns out that "peak" is barely enough for a top10 than win a race very few people care about and have an unknown (to the general public) Colombian ride for GC in France.

sky will want wiggans to be the leader because he is british.

Yes, that too, but nationality aside he's just Sky's most marketable rider at the moment.

ok guys, look what will happen...evans to attack wiggins in the high mountains.big lol how wrong did that sound? :p
i think wiggins will survive sky is riding on pure power and kerosene no way to lose this, the others won't go hard on him.the only problem is purito, that demon has still a lot of strength and he's not gotta keep it for le tour.

also eyes on rui costa,he will attack like a mad man i'm sure of this.

the problem with vino is that he improved so much in the climbing aspect that his tt'ing suffers a lot now.but that's all what matters nowadays in grand tours anyway,i even can say it was a good itt.

acf,did you solve the enigma of evans sweating like a pornstar milf out there?he lost the amount of rujano in water.

The course is too hilly for Cance

You keep telling yourself that. ;)
Martin can get close, but no one beats an on form Canc in the TT. (Except for Contador '09 of course :p)

Cancellara has never been really dominating the TT in the last week of the Tour. He's unbeatable in championchips, but not in a long TT during a GT.

When was Tony Martin dominating in the third week ITT of the Tour?
More fanboy fluff.
Cancellara will be working his socks off for the Schlecks and Martin will have 100s of kms of pulling the peloton along for Cav, in his legs.

Contador will have him for breakfast. (maybe even Wigans:eek:)

He's not unbeatable, but to put anyone else as the favorite in a TT is crazytalk! :p

Cancellara worked his socks off for the Schlecks in '09 and only lost to Contador by 3 seconds, in a Tour where the mountains didn't bother Contador at all.

This year, I do believe the mountains are going to be much more difficult than '09, so Contador won't be as fresh going into Grenoble, (plus he rode the Giro).

Cancellara still has to be the favorite in Grenoble, IMHO.

He's the favourite, but he's beatable. He's totally untouchable in the world championchips. But he is not as dominating during GT in TTs

Wow, 700+ posts for a TT. I guess Gesink and Evans must be involved. :D
Martin and his fanboy are the newest focus and attraction in the CN comedy-club.

EBH would've had a 2 minute lead on the white jersey and a 2nd place overall if he didn't puncture yesterday...but then again, that might be a good thing, as he now hopefully won't be tempted to use too much energy in the mountain stages which wouldn't be wise considering TDF.

Maybe because for the Canc the Tour is a secondary goal at best.

Hes got MSR, then several cobbled classics, then Worlds TT and if possible Worlds RR at the end of the season.

If he aimed to peak at the Tour like T. Martin, he would be knocking Quim rodriguez types out of the race on time limit.

I could see an in form Contador beating Cancellara on this time trial(in the third week of the Tour), but he already has the Giro in his legs... Other then that, no one will beat Cancellara.

doesn't matter the weather... what changed is the wind. Look at Kadri' performance: 1st check point 65th, last 15th
