Thanks Susan the terms and conditions seem to indicate otherwise but that is nice to know.

Because Movistar izze Spanish. Don't you get it?Libertine Seguros said:Why is Team Sky's Pinarello Dogma on the list and Movistar's not?
I'd rather have the bike adorned with Campagnolo.
The Hitch said:Contador was either the 3rd or 2nd best cyclist of the year. How he can be omitted from the top 9 is beyond me.

and I voted for a female with a nice Polish looking name in some category.

Judging from the poll options, I'd have to agree.
Seriously, if the poll is US/UK centric biased, why bother?
Voting sensibly just adds credence to the inevitable outcomes.
I've never entered and won't, until it becomes a fair representation
of the season's high points.
Leave it for the 3 week........sorry, that should now read 4 week, fans.

Daniel Benson said:A note on Contador: We didn't include him in last year's poll due to his positive test from the 2010 Tour and subsequent case. Although he has been cleared to race until the CAS hearing decides his final fate in November, we felt that the outcome was still unclear and therefore we've be consistent in our approach from last year.
Daniel Benson said:We had huge problems with the data download from that one question for the past two years. However we will bring you a highlights feature of best images at the end of the year.
Mambo95 said:Hitch, I dare say you may be taking these polls a little too seriously. I doubt Contador gives a toss. Personally, I think that people should vote for someone like Kittel or Martin who might appreciate the thought.
If you Contador fans want to get 'revenge' on Cycling News, then vote for Gilbert - he'll charge them a couple of thousand Euros to accept it.
The Hitch said:I know Contador doesnt care about it. I doubt Cav cares about whether posters think he is a legitimate world champion but that thread had 70 pages of posts.
This one has 7. If the opinions of posters can produce such a huge number of responses are you really surprised that the opinion of an organization has received a few responses?
And the Contador thing is minor. He wouldn't and shouldn't win anyway. Its the inclusion of Tour of Colorado that is most ridiculous.
