Most beautiful and most asthetic performance

It was great to watch this. A unit with his bike. Like "angegossen" :D

Just beautiful.

Contador suffering, but one his way to Tiralongo.

Contador reached Tiralongos wheel and decides to give the win to his friend.
Tiralongo has an epic painface on this picture.

That's how someone looks who is suffering badly, but is also incredibly happy!

thanks to all for the great images.

After perusing through the photos, I liked this video and the music with it.
Makes me feel a little melancholy, which is appropriate
since the 2011 cycling season is pretty much over.
That and thoughts of Wouter and others:
- Carla Swart, South Africa. January 20, 2011.
- Shamus Liptrot, Australia. May 10, 2011.
- Xavier Tondo, Spain. May 23, 2011.

- Juan Mauricio Solor

To 2012! And more recovery for Soler!

And they have a dialect of German just to troll Libertine :p

If they could be bothered to codify Schwyzertüütsch, it would definitely be its own separate language. Visiting Switzerland armed with standard German is like entering Euskaltel-Euskadi armed with an encyclopædic knowledge of cobbled classics - it's vaguely helpful but ultimately totally irrelevant.

Not totally irrelevant... I mean with my basic highschool German I sort of understand what these Swiss code language speakers are on about.

I was in the Schwarz Wald this year for the summer vacation and you had alot of Swiss channels, if they talk slowly its somewhat manageable but if they start discussing and start talking quickly they've lost me :p.

Also I wanted to kill myself for not taking my old old bike with me to ride some as the Schwarz Wald is a great place to cycle, lots of short hills but very very steep (10%-15% approx.).

as for an image:

Ah, but Swiss Standard German and the language of the towns and villages in the mountains are very different. When I was living in Germany one of my friends was from Stüttgart, and even he had trouble understanding people from small towns in Switzerland, though Swiss TV channels and official communication was little trouble.
