TTT's boring? maybe it's because I'm dutch and we used to be the rulers in this discipline, but don't you enjoy the tactics? when there is a tiny hill in the first part, it's important not to loose too many guys so the team can go fast the 2nd half. Speed vs. dropping your mates. crashes of a whole team. TTT's rule!
The best TTT is not too long and with a small hill.

This Italian race seems top btw!

A brilliant, 2-man attack from Aqua e Sapone, from a disorganized peloton at the 2km marker meant Corioni held on from the charging Guardini on this pan flat stage.

Great to see a team prepared to take the initiative away from the sprint trains.

Diego Ulissi - Future star or early peak?

are you serious? diego ulissi has been called the next future star since he was 15 or 16. he already go pro contract offers when he was 16 I believe for when he could officially be turning pro at 18. same accounts for danielle ratto although less than absolute supertalent ulissi.

I suppose Ratto has actually been the most promissing of the 2 as amateurs, but that Ulissi got some extra hype from his world championships. But so far as a pro Ratto has been quite dissapointing, especially in the climbs, but his breakthrough should definetly come soon and both he and Ulissi will have great careers. Sometimes it just takes a little time and good to see another example Pirazzi, that was also a very much hyped climber as an amateur, finally breaking through this season after a slow start as a pro.

You should give guys like Ratto and Ulissi time.

But with good juniors, you never know if they are gonna make it.
Kreuziger was, in results, vastly superior to many of his opponents of the 85/86 generation. Look where he is now....

Nice climbing by Gianni Meersman  he's finally getting back where he belongs after his bad luck the last 2 seasons :(

And I'll never enjoy a Sella victory again :( not after what he did to me in that 2008 Giro :(

So do we all agree that Malori will take the time trial win tomorrow?

Maybe some competition from Ulissi, Schumi, Sutherland and Bodrogi....but this field is not crowded with TT specialists, can't really see any real competitors to Malori against the clock.

Sellas lead should be enough IMO, but what's Pirazzis TT skills like?

Yes Malori should win that fairly easy.

Pirazzi is a decent time trailist, but not super. He was 7. in the time trial Porte won in the baby giro for instance and did one of his best stages in last years giro in the final tt.
