Good for him! I guess he'll ride the Tour de France after all.

Are results up anywhere? I want to know how David Apples is going after the Giro.

Yeah, it's really great for him! Appollonio did pretty well in the prologue, so I guess he's ok.

No results so far, website seems to be down.

To be fair, Farrar really should be cleaning up at these kind of sprints. Bos and Apples are the only two in that top 10 who are close to being as quick as him, and neither has his experience or tactical nouse.

I think he gets a bit of a pass due to the Weylandt situation.

He wasn't superb prior to that, but was winning sprints like this (Trofeo Mallorca, Trofeo Cala Millor) and had a couple of moments in bigger sprints (a T-A stage win). But since screwing up that sprint in Gent-Wevelgem, he was disappointing even prior to leaving the Giro. Getting dominated in Turkey was a bit embarassing and he really wasn't anywhere close in stage 2 of the Giro.

Good, Tyler, good. :)

Wanted to have a look at the finish today, but weather was really awful and changed from hell to heaven, and the other way around very quickly all the time.
But Tyler didn't give a s*** :D

What about Roux??? Hard luck for Blythe and Dowsett. They need the wins to qualify for the WC RR.

which is no use if the ster toer doesnt carry any uci world ranking points.

2.20 minutes ahead now. Bart de Clercq has dropped from the leaders group and is trailing 17 seconds behind.
7 leaders now. It's raining at the finish.
