Beautiful win by Rolland. I wanted Sanchez to win, but I'm fine with Rolland. I even think I have him in my Tour selection.

Cadel looked like a determined potato. Going to be interesting tomorrow.

Well done Rolland. Well done Contador. Dying with your boths on.

57 seconds between AS and CE.

This could be an EPIC finish. I'd love to see CE beat AS by :57 seconds tomorrow and start the last stage DEAD tied.

We could have a fight in the Paris!!!

Schleck needs to finish fourth to win mountain jersey - doesn't!

So Samu may have stolen the stage from Contador, but come on - he had mountain title to win!

And Rolland had every right not to pull Conta or Samu. They are fighting Voeckler in overall for Top5.

Absolutely correct tactics by BOTH Sanchez and Rolland!

The failures today : Basso (who hadn't it) and Voeckler (too brave leading to tactical failure)

For those of you who know the rule book:

What happens if Cadel beats Andy by 57 seconds tomorrow? Is it the best placing on the final stage that decides it? Cadel and Andy sprinting on Champs Elysèe? :D

Samu owes AC dinner tonight! P!ss poor move chasing him down

He won himself the polka-dots with that chase. Should he have sacrificed that for Contador's potential stage win?

Was the KoM point the finish line or was it a few hundred metres before?

If it was at the finish Samu has it - but I thought there was a line before the final corner and maybe that's why Schleck was leading his group...

So Samu gets the polka in Paris.

Rolland gets Alpe.

Shame Contador gets nothing. How much time does he need on Frank for the podium?

Too bad for Andy... he needed more time on Evans going into the ITT tomorrow. Andy will need enough left to ride a great, for him, ITT to hold onto his lead. Evans is likely low on gas now too though, so we'll see.

It's altogether possible that Evans gains significant time but only enough to make it a near tie. Then we have a race for the yellow on the Champs-Élysées!
