Samu 2nd on stage - Andy 5th or worse

Samu 3rd on stage - Andy 7th or worse

What he needs is Evans to catch them and he and Evans to work to drop Schleck.

Samu should go for the stage. If he wins the polka in the proccess, great. If he doesnt, oh well. Alpe d huez is way bigger than polka.

Any number of riders could completely get shelled on the Alpe. Even Contador. Any of them actually. this is incredible racing. Just incredible.

The Alps (and this stage especially) have certainly been helped also by the fact that Contador lost that time on stage 1.
