After the interruption of an intermediate sprint, we apologise and return you to our regularly scheduled broadcast of nothing.

Why do you have the urge to post about 10 of these comments during a flat race thread. We all know nothing happens. You don't have to tell us.

I work Monday to Friday, so I have to get an entire week's worth of criticism of flat stages into today's showing.
So True. Makes me agree with Greenflame...

Hmm I think I'll stick with tennis for now, great match there so far and my favourite is winning (won't say who that is in case there's people looking back at that later).

Warn me when something happens in the race guys ;)
I think it was Monica Seles that started that really annoying trend of screaming/loud grunting every time a stroke is made. I can't stand it, and tend to like much less anyone who does it. Now that the screamer lost, I'll have to return to watching this... bicycle race?

I use it every year. (Used to be Versus, of course.) It's worth it because it's a high data rate and it's reliable. Or at least it has been. :)

What's *not* reliable, though, is the service provider, Time-Warner. Hope they don't screw it up this year.

watchining....well, *was* watching on nbc sports, now watching on excellent eurosport feed. time warner is my provider - video is AWFUL when it is not herky-jerky. 600kb has been the maximum streaming. hope it is not like this for the entire tour!

thanks, Max and all.
Well I missed the race start and Passag Du Gois section. Anyone hit the deck there? I suspect not since the Passage was supposed to be a neutralized section. Just curious.

Just the Gorilla I think.

So Lelange has stated BMC want 3 riders to do well so they get a good start position in TTT tomorrow but P+P have 'nfi' what BMC are doing up front?

Ffs...

I rebooted the PC and the cable modem and the data rate went back up to 2.1 Mbit/s. I think T/W does some kind of erzatz data throttling, so that after you've sucked a certain amount of data down the pipe they cut you off or way down. Just guessing about that, but rebooting the modem seems to solve it.

I don't like to rely on free feeds for important races. At least this way I have someone to scream at if it doesn't work. :D

so I see BMC did not get the boot over the Schoutteten bust.

its too small a case for them to get the boot. Its kinda like the OPL van sevenant thing. should leave this discussion in the clinic.

kinda surprised BMC are putting so many up the front to protect cadel they certainly have some plans today other than the top 3 finishers.

me neither, which is why i paid for the nbc feed. never experienced this problem with universal sports...giro feed was clear as clear can be.

i had booted my laptop to no avail - didn't occur to me to cycle the modem - will try that....tomorrow!

gilberr ftw.
