Indeed. Not sure if I understand the tactic though.

There's only 2 reasons I can think off right now. Either they thought Gerdemann and Fuglsang where going to be better then they where, or they are hoping to crack Contador by pushing him to the limit.

it's the let's silence the haters by blowing up our team and showing that we can do it on our own tactic!

I am sure we all knew that Voigt and O'Grady would be in the peleton at the top of the Tourmalet, and Gerdemann and Fuglsang. Quite a surprising stage so far.

Ten Dam saying sayonara to the peleton but going forward.

Yea, sorry, but how would Bottle know whether or not he can attack, he has never done it.

Underscoring your lack of racing experience. You simply KNOW when you're on the rivet. I am NOT defending LL or RS, just simply trying to see if you have any idea of what it's like to be totally at your limit and have one of your buddies on the side of the road in an office park crit implore you to move up in the pack or get off the front when you know you're in the red.

Again, why aren't you picking at the others who are happy to follow the wheels of those who are clearly superior, namely AC, Fs, AS, CE et al?

Just curious!
