I'm ready. Just got a new password and finally managed to make the thread show forty posts at once. Stage starts at 11.20. Live coverage starts at 12.15 or thereabouts. Prediction for the stage: breakaway to get very little leeway, because lots of GC hopes would like to have something to take home now rather then wait and see what you can take home in Paris. The first mountain stage is usually for the GC riders. Saturday we will propably see a largeish breakaway with people going for polka dot.

Leipheimer in the breakaway could be interesting? Lost alot of time so is possible!!

Leipheimer in the breakaway could be interesting? Lost alot of time so is possible!!

People will disagree but Leiphemer in my eyes will still top 10. For most riders bar 4-5 will just be looking to limit losses in these stages and Levi is one of the best at riding within himself. As for him going in the break isn't he only 5 mins down on Cadel? With his TT I don't think he would be given much leeway.

Along with the Movistar and Saxo climbers Albie may actually have the strongest team!

Levi has a good chance of top 10, but i take it back he will work for kloeden as he is still in contention.

WNW winds for most the day which means a head to cross winds for the final two climbs for most of it.

how strong is the wind and the climbs are steep so shouldn't matter that much

evans has looked so good to me so far in this tour that i wouldn't be suprised if he dropped contador and the schleck brothers on the final climb tonight.

Lame, breakaways are let go to easy. I was hoping Phil and Rojas to be in a breakaway ;p Although tomorrow would be a smarter choice I guess.
