No doubt it was a great ride. I thought it was silly that he expected Moncoutie to help him. (And I thought it was even sillier that Moncoutie DID help him.) But you gotta love Roy. He's been amazing this Tour, but he just can't finish it. Thor is a great champion, doing rainbows proud, but Roy... How can NOT pull for him?

Moncoutie did as he could. If he could have catched Roy on the Aubisque they could have outmatched Hushovd but like that it would have been difficult. Hats off to Thor. Only 2 wins but he makes it count

Indeed, it was about time to for him to get a big win in that jersey, it was looking like it might be a year like Ballan had in his jersey but this win pretty much makes up for most if not all of it.

Did you guys miss that time in yellow? That's better than a stage win, if you ask me. Thor was a beast in the first week.
