Days like this I really wish there was live coverage from the first kilometer, I want to see how the break gets formed.

Of course, but normally a breakaway doesn't consist of top tier climbers, and he can make up a minute or so on the descend. In the dauphine he actually briefly got back to the main group on the last stage after the HC climb, making up more than 2 minutes on the descend.

You think he can hang with potential breakawayers like Van Garderen and Hesjedal? I'm not so sure.

Totally. This is the most interesting part of a stage like today where the break likely stays away.

I have to say I'm impressed with the quality of Tommy Voeckler's English. He's not fluent obviously, but he can hold his own with interviews.

The coverage tomorrow starts early on Eurosport so that looks to be worth watching, shame about today because it sounds like they're steaming along at pace.

Gruppo compatto. Come on Eurosport no-one cares about Roman Kreuziger.

what do you expect them to show???

there are NO live pictures yet!!!

Eurosport (and others) can just show what they get, and as long as French TV hasn't started with the live coverage, there's simply nothing to show (live)
