i really hope ac wins.

from anti-ac I now want him to win lol. The schlecks just suck so much.

If Cadel Evans wins then you know that Gesink could have won this Tour had he not crashed, and with Andys gt skills and Contador unlikely to target the Giro next year, this would have been the chance of a lifetime.

Same reason why i am hating on Cadel so much (though obviously not with Gesink in mind)

that was a hard descent, anyone notice the TVmotorbike back wheel stepping out twice on 2 corners while Evans was following.....

He earned it. Sure EBH deserved it more today, but that's cycling. Hushovd did what every rider would do in his position.
I'm incredibly impressed by Thor this tour.

Me too, but I would have loved to see another rider take the win. 2 times from a break is just annoying!

If Evans is in yellow in the ITT I do not see Contador taking much time off him, Cuddles will be much closer to the time Martin/Wiggo set in Dauphine

Crap statement by the Schlecks and one of the reasons why I would like to see them fail utterly, just to readjust their mentality.

Also did anyone else saw the way Contador kept fidgetting with his radio, taking it in and taking it out the entire time?

no way.

evans is not of the same quality in a long itt as either of those, or least hasn't been for some years.

just no.

Let's hope the partnership has a successful final day tomorrow!

I sure hope so tomorrow's parcours really suits evans. He should have no problem tomorrow. Good to see that he finally does great descends again.

Confirms everything everyone says about the guy. Total wussy.

Let me translate "stages like that require that I wear big girl panties, and I don't have any big girl panties"

I'd agree, but he doesn't look good to be honest.

OH LAWD.. I gotta mute the sbs team
What was it this time, or just general Cadel fapping because he's got one foot on the top step?

Perhaps Riis was laughing so loud that Alberto couldn't focus on the descent.

whether it's contador or evans in the end in paris, either have shown they're worthy. you have to attack if you want to win.
Whoever wins it from here will be a worthy winner, even if it's one of the Schlecks.

What did they say?

When did Evans attack. He rode Contador and samu off his wheel on the descent and at best had a 7 second gap worked up over 7km. I dont see it as an attack and in the hills and mountains, the only time you see Evans with his head down is when he has programmed the distance of the nearest wheel into his mind and is driving hard to catch up to it.

To compare his one time riding off the wheel is an insult to Contador who attacked as many times in this stage than Evans has in his life.

Wasn't that when he left so much at the Dauphine that he didn't have it at the Tour?

He did probably peak too early.

I don't expect him to beat Contador in the stage 20 ITT. I just don't expect him to lose more then 30 seconds or so. Contador while looking good isn't in 2009 TDF form, and won't be in this race. You simply can't after riding the Giro hard. Evans looks to be in great form. On even footing when it comes to form, over an ITT this distance I can't see Contador getting more then a minute... and I believe Evans will have an advantage in form.

Psst, the Galibier and Alpe are yet to come ;)

Perhaps Cuddles will need time on Contador when the TT comes.
