Stage might be shortened due to weather? Who do these people think they are? They obviously don't know how to schedule a bike race.

What did they think, arranging a bike race in France in july?

Add Voeckler to the mix...this is the only stage left he can stretch his lead

I agree. The Tour dilutes the quality of the field in the Tour of Austria. It should be moved.

Euskatel and Europcar must try to race that mountain really really hard. They must try to drop Cancellara. Then Sanchez and Voeckler can attack on the downhill.

I don't like the official Tour profiles. They're a bit "squished". Today looks like a 140 km long climb to Gap, but the average gradient is barely 1 %.

Its in Danish but the latest they said about the issue was that ASO are considering it and later on that the stage could suit HTC if the climb is removed. They might just be ill-informed, though.

anyways, I hope they keep it but I also hope that it wont cause any crashes, especially among the favorites.
