Domestique of the tour by a wide margin

Loving Rolland right now. He's been a monster. One or two more years under Tommy V, and then who knows? Lots of exciting young riders to cheer for this year.

As for domestiques, Monfort really earned his keep today, too.

French tv: whole grupetto hors delay............outside the time limit and still waiting.
Rojas home 2 minutes inside.

So that means Cavendish loses 20 points for the green right (the amount of points Andy got)? If he stays in. Could make it interesting.

Theres no way they will send half the peloton home.

They might throw a few stragglers out the back off tho, just to show they can be tough if they want. Would not want to be falling off the back.

Its a tough race...I personally feel that all who miss the cut should be out...but it won't happen. Great race today. Happy to see Cunego riding well...good one for Andy...hell...great race today is all I can say.

As an aside, I want to give big props to Tom Danielson. I have been as critical as anyone of him in recent years, but he's showing great form here, and could very well finish in the top 10, which would be remarkable.

Really?
As things stand right now he is the 21/22th climber in the Tour in this form.
That can't be good enough to win on the Alpe d'Huez.

He might have been referring to a break away or something. +inspiration from dutch corner :p

He is improving, but it wont be enough, no way.
Frank or Andy to win again :p

Someone should revive his annual thread.

I think it would become a very weird tour if they did that. Imagine having 44 guys riding tomorrow and on the Champs Elysee. Would be fun to see but never going to happen.

despite, his great ride, really not good for evans, imo.

schlecks can just play with him on l'alpe and no one has any incentive of helping evans as they are out of the running now.

Given how hard they are working to give it to Cavendish they might give him 20 points for having such a hard day!

Bus of 80, in 2 minutes late. A lot of big names including Cancellara and Chavanel, so expect the result to be all in, no one out.
Cav - 20 points, I expect.

I think Contador's tour was over before the race started.

Everything seem so easy in a back-perspective.

Its a loughing joke, to see all these replys from just yesterdays and today

But a friendly advise "dont bet on predictions"

Velits is the only HTC in so far. The rest must be pacing Cav and bulking up the group.

I don't like seeing riders eliminated on time but I hope they get a big point penalty.
