Calm down. They have the 20% rule to prevent them being forced to evict riders just because the organisers set the wrong time limit.

33 minutes on a stage like today, with a massive headwind, is palpably too tight.

Cavendish will get a 20 point penalty, which is equivalent to giving Rojas the stage win he isn't good enough to earn.

Don't tell me to calm down...I don't care what the time limit is set at...why even set one???

Only way for Contador now is to take between 2 to 3 minutes on all tomorrow. And then ride a good tt.
Still possible.

After you with the bong!!:D Even if Contador had the legs tomorrow you think anyone is going to let him get away?

Ive gone to being nervous to ..... Petrified - I'm afraid the Schlecks will tag team it out of Cadel's reach but I'm not giving up hope as He is right in this :D

I must issue an apology to the forum re some of my posts....I can get too irrational for my own good

Well if he gets just 15-30sec on Voeckler tomorrow he should get ahead of at least him in the TT.

Stop dreaming. He's cooked. Next year he'll be back without the Giro in his legs, no doubt.

I am AC fan, but let me tell you... forget about it. Yes, maybe he will go for a stage win to leave a positive mark. But he's got no legs to put major time in others. Pity. But its true. I think he should have even started the Tour. Why not got for Giro+Vuelta double.

Really?
As things stand right now he is the 21/22th climber in the Tour in this form.
That can't be good enough to win on the Alpe d'Huez.

Very very small spark ;). I'm usually optimistic :D.

Anyways wonder whats the decision is going to be.

Ha, it sounds like you need to calm down more than ever.

Your basic request is that we rip up the rule book so we can punish 1 rider you don't like (admittedly 90 other guys will get screwed, but who cares if we can hurt Cav).

They all road to the rulebook and will get their 20 point penalty. If you want to go ultra vires, you can just as easily argue there should be no points penalties.
