I am AC fan, but let me tell you... forget about it. Yes, maybe he will go for a stage win to leave a positive mark. But he's got no legs to put major time in others. Pity. But its true. I think he should have even started the Tour. Why not got for Giro+Vuelta double.

Because he had done that allready.
wanted to try Giro+TDF double

Well. As I suspected Betamax man's predicition proved totally wrong but I have to say I'm very pleased it did. Can't decide who I want to win more. I think Cadel having come close twice before. He must be dreading going into the final time trial just behind the leader. I hope it's third time lucky

The rules say that all the reinstated riders get -20 points, even if they haven't got any.

If the same happened tomorrow, Cav would be 5 points behind Rojas, which would mean lots of fun for Sunday...

Ha, it sounds like you need to calm down more than ever.

Your basic request is that we rip up the rule book so we can punish 1 rider you don't like (admittedly 90 other guys will get screwed, but who cares if we can hurt Cav).

They all road to the rulebook and will get their 20 point penalty. If you want to go ultra vires, you can just as easily argue there should be no points penalties.

Listen...has nothing to do with any riders I like or don't...why have a time cut??? Its BS...they didn't make the cut...let them ride to Paris...but they shouldn't be in any jersey competitions...

Amazing stage. Regardless of what's happened before, regardless of what will happen later, Andy Schleck just enschoned his name into cycling fokelore with that race. Eddy Mercx shouting encouragements at him says it all. Chapeau

And well done Evans. Now we know why what happened from Isoard to Galibier, they were too weak. Basso, who has the same style as Evans could follow but all the others dropped off. Amazing climbing display too, he did all he could. Now we have deja vu at the Alpe....

Lastly, Voeckler, ride of the day behind Andy he will likely lose the jersey tomorrow but he out-climbed all but 4/5 of the GC guys.

Chapeau x 1000000000 to all three

There was no "letting them have time" today. It was flat out behind....SmartOpard was just better. Period.
Of course they didn't let them have time, the riders pulling were just crap.

Wrong. The time limit was of course misjudget by several minutes since over 70 riders couldn't reach it.
