The Agnello doesn't get hard until 100km to go. Only the last 9km are steep.

They have brought ovens and towels to dry up any wet spots on the descents. Poosthuma will also brew a cup of yasmin tea for Andy on the top of Agnel.

I dont understand the Luquigas tactics in this tour, the only chance that Basso has to gain much ground is to contribute to high tempo from the start of the stage like this,othervise he will struggle to gain a lot on Voeckler if he waits until the Galibier, they left out Sagan because they wanted to focus on Basso's hopes, but so far they have done very little.
