they have brought ovens and towels to dry up any wet spots on the descents. Poosthuma will also brew a cup of yasmin tea for andy on the top of agnel.

Even though his knee might be fine, that news hurts.

I honestly don't know why he'd be bluffing. It's not like anyone's going to underestimate him now. If anything, he could be looking for an excuse in case things don't go his way later on. But it's probably just that his knee hurts some.

Not the sort of thing you want to hear if you are a Contador fan. Could be nothing major but with the climbs today could also be big problem.

I am very surprised by some teams´ strategy to let the Europcar set the slow pace in all mountain stages, that is saving a lot of Voeckler´s energy

I dont understand the Luquigas tactics in this tour, the only chance that Basso has to gain much ground is to contribute to high tempo from the start of the stage like this, othervise he will struggle to gain a lot on Voeckler if he waits until the Galibier, they left out Sagan because they wanted to focus on Basso's hopes, but so far they have done very little.

Agree. He needs to fire up his diesel rig on the Agnel or Izoard. Galibier doesn't look steep enough for him to pace the top guys off his wheel

Why is Gesink sitting in front? Is he planning to slow down the peloton by blocking everyone? Or does he want to form a bus early :p

Why isnt Chavannel in the break. If he could cross Angel and Iozard first that would put him a brilliant position in the polka dot.

Contador is what makes this race interesting. Without him we are lilkely just wasting our time.

I bet Saxo will be driving the pace over the first climb. Even if attacks won't happen there, they'll use it to whip the energy out of the other teams.

And if Riis wanted to bluff, he'd just have one of the Sørensens ride up to Andy and say "Contador's toast. You guys should set the pace or whatever. He'll totally crack. Promise"

Right, but by going back to the medical car, Conti might simply be following DS directions.

Why would he need an excuse? Do you doubt he still feels the Giro in his legs? I don't.

If he loses, he loses. I think that would only make him a bigger champion.
