Well how can his knee be better for the past two days and worse now? If he is hurting, it is fatigue, no doubt.

it can be more painful if there was a high tempo on the climb (?). That was a steep climb also.

But yes it could be fatigue also.

Martin is the one who really failed. No falls, no excuses, and he got dropped like a stone while in perfect position for the GC before the mountains
