No you are completely misunderstanding.

When we say 'not using it' we mean that the teams don't ride a hard pace to make a selection. They are currently riding soft pace on the Agnello, so they are not using the climb to make a selection.

It's a matter of saying

Well as usual us here in Oz are being subject to Tommo's idiocy instead of getting coverage of today's stage.

Still,watching Matt Keenan explaining some of the intricacies of the stage,and racing in general,as Mike nods his head (like he's about to fall asleep) is amusing-you can see that Tommo doesn't understand any of what Matt's just said.

the only bad thing about nibali stepping up to be a main GT rider is that the fearful liqui train is now split in 2 and isn't nearly as powerful
