As I said, Crans-Montana is often disappointing, but the shape of the profile reminded me of the exciting and great Pescocostanzo stage of the '08 Giro. I like the format of climb, shortish descent/flat then a short steep climb to finish cos you can go early, you can go late, you can hold on for the final climb when everyone's tired, and nearly every type of climber has a chance to pull it off.

Great stage.

Mollema was in 4th for Rabo.

Bad day to be Andy Schleck. Hope he doesn't look like this in the tour. I'm losing any faith in him I had when he's getting dropped by Horner and too many people at the TdS. Meanwhile, Contador was winning with ease...

Weening needs to learn to attack later in the race. He attacks way too early always. Still a good performance by him and a good try by Krijswick. Would have loved to have seen Krijs pull it off.

The stream sucked unfortunately. The last km was totally useless.

I assume some of the brits will still ride tour .

all they have to do is finish.

World tour points, not CQ, someone other than Wiggo, Cav, Millar, Thomas & Swift would need to top 20 GC, or top 5 a stage.

I turned it off the moment I saw soler get over the line. It was horrible stream.

Froome might be peaking for TdS. I think he had good chance for Top 10 here.

frank is another talent that has been discovered. They should put frank and tschopp in the tour and take out those 3 jokers in the dauphine.

Thanks. I thought someone at Movistar needed their head examined to rule him out so early.

frank just completed (struggled) his first GT. no way should he do the tour. I will be posting a very angry rant on this forum later today!
