People who can TT...you'll see. Last year was an exception to the rule.

Other than Contador, who do you think can stay close enough to Andy in the mountain to catch him in the TT? A ITT that is even shorter than last year and much hillier.

He gained 1 minute on Tourmalet, the toughest stage of the Tour. (and that was to JRod, the best TT Menchov was 1:40 down)

There are at least 3 stages as tough as Tourmalet this year (Luz Ardiden, Plateau de Beille, Alpe d'Huez, Galibier MTF may be too easy).

If Andy feels he needs more time he can get it.
Andy's only problem should be Contador (and his own shifting abilities :p)

Peaking Sagan can beat not peaking Goss or Swift. On peak both of them would beat him imo.

(Note: I haven't seen the finish).

I agree, but it is still a sign of how impressive Sagan is. Probably a top10 sprinter. Faster than Hushovd, Freire etc. If you can be that at the same time as winning from the break on tough mountain stages...

He has an amazing future ahead, who knows where it leads him.

the next Tony Martin

Mollema fell.

That's it, I'm done with Leopard. If Andy falls whole peloton has to wait but if an opponent falls you ride hard to gain time.

I seriously hope next time Rabobank gets the opportunity in the Tour they do the same. If Andy takes a ****, ride with the entire team

edit: now they say it's a flat tire. Make up your mind Telesport

Does Sagan ever win less than 2 stages per race.

This year's Cali, but only because stage 1 was cancelled.

Tour of Switzerland
3rd Stage 1
1st Stage 3
2nd Stage 4
3rd Stage 5
1st Stage 8

That's just ****ing amazing. What a talent. Biggest talent (non GT rider) I've seen since VDB.

I seem to remember the Rabobank DS wanted Gesink, Menchov and Freire to ride but they didn't wanna, so maybe some blame should go to them instead of falling squarely on Cancellara's shoulders just because he was smarter than everyone else.

@TeoSheva: Andy lost the Tour already when he was 5 minutes behind but when Cancellara decided to play knight. Rabobank waited then. And they get this for thanks
I really don't want LeoTard to win anything in the Tour, they don't deserve it. Riding full after a opponent gets a flat tire. Yeah, True racing. Well done.

Have a little more confidence in Contador :p

Contador was fully right to drop Andy when he had his chain incident. It's clear Andy would've done the same if the situation was reversed.

I hope Andy gets a flat somewhere in the first week and Saxo Bank and Rabobank decide to ride full gas like LeoTard did today
