Roche to take KoM points off Moncoutie to help Montaguti's polka dot campaign? Can that be more important than his top 20? Can it be worth more UCI points to try to maintain A2gr's ProTour status?

IIRC there no UCI points for the KoM.

There's a photo on the final podium in Madrid though.

Because they're so good at that

I remember them doing pretty well in a stage Nieve won last year. :p

But seriously there are 4 of them and arguably the best 4 from the team in the race. They might as well push the pace up.

Wow. Tough hours for Sky ahead.

Is it wrong/stupid of me to hope for a L'Aquila type situation today?

According to Eurosport commentator Anton has just dropped in the front group

Think they mistaked him waiting for Nieve for dropping from the group, since they just said he joined back on.

How could Anton have so badly ****ed up his Vuelta prep? Was he sick or injured and I just didn't hear about it?

Liquigas in the front of the group, making it harder for Sky to close the gap. Nice tactics for both Liquigas and Katusha

Wasn't there something about him having a food poisoning and losing a lot of weight right before the Vuelta?
