So to sum it up:

- Froome confused the 20km banner with the intermediate sprint;
- by doing so, he prompted the attack of Sastre;
- Sastre managed to get the second place in the intermediate sprint;
- Wiggings spinted to get 2 boni seconds.

Sky: new horizons in pro cycling.

Sky got late notification that there was an extra sprint point that NO-ONE knew about until then, and got the mile marker confused. At the actual extra sprint point (that may not be anything), Wiggins stopped Cobo getting bonus seconds.

Yes, hate on Sky.

Now the commentators here said, that after the start of today stage the organizers decided to put one more intermediate sprint here, and they have talked about this to the team managers on radio. Maybe thats was the reason that Froome didn't knowed were the sprint is.

about the bonus points, I don't know what it said on the vuelta site, but Steve Schlager on Universal Sports live webcast was saying at 25k to go "I wonder if these guys know the sprint point has been moved to around 16k". So he must have heard that SOMEWHERE

Good grief. ITV4 just said official confirmation that that *was* the second sprint. No wonder there was confusion.
