Yes, TGBM couldn't have wished for a better guy to chase down.luckyboy said:It will be fun watching TGBM pass Rodriguez tomorrow.
Wiggins in red, Cancellara wins, J-Rod 4mins+ down.
TeamSkyFans said:If Froome was there purely to be a domestique he would have dropped off the back of the group after doing the work for Wiggins today.
Chris can time trial, and he is looking at a decent GC position,l and if he rides to his potential tomorrow he will still be well in the top ten after the TT.
He doesnt have a new contract for Sky yet, but one is in the offing. The Vuelta is very much his chance to show he is worth the investment. Wouldnt surprise me if Sky announce an extension on one of the rest days as they did in the Tour with Geraint and Swifty.

Dekker_Tifosi said:Realistically Wiggins, Nibali or Fuglsang will get the red jersey after today.
I think the battle for the overall is already down to 3/4 men even if still so many are within 1'30 of the leader.
Wiggins and Nibali are now my top favorites. I don't believe anymore in Scarponi or Rodriguez.
Mollema and Vandenbroeck are the next to think of after Wiggins and Nibali
Dan Martin maybe if he can limit the damage in the time trial.
Fuglsang already lost 50 seconds yesterday so he will lose minutes on the other tough mountain stages. So after the TT he will fall back automatically.
So in order of likelyhood, end winner of Vuelta:
Wiggins/Nibali
Mollema/Vandenbroeck
Dan Martin
others (from Fuglsang/Rodriguez/Scarponi to Kessiakoff/Cobo etc)
