I'm not sure if Nibs is keeping his powder dry for the last climb or maybe not on a great day. Soon find out.

Apart from Cobo being primed for a killing punch, Geox will also take over in the teams classification after the failure of RadioShack.

Re: Roche

The live ticker says he was dropped just before the top. Imagine he would be back on now though.

Probably, but it's going to be very hard for him to avoid getting dropped early on the final climb.

Nibali doesn't have to do anything besides wait for Wiggins to crack. He can take 4s from Wiggins pretty much at will, so there is no need to do it soon and have to defend the jersey for longer.

When I said he would win, I didn't mean he would push himself hard and go early. I just expect him to attack in the last few km to get the bonus seconds for the stage win and thus wrap up the Vuelta for himself. Is this really such an impossible scenario?

Cobo looking strong but Wigggins shouldnt chase because that is where he blows up. He needs to go at his own steady tempo, its a long old climb.

Yes Wiggins will be so happy that he has to try and get the leaders jersey on such suitable climbs as Angliru or Pena Cabarga, they are MADE for Wiggins really.

Oh..wait..

At least there will be no pressure and that will transfer to Nibali. Wiggo looking good for a podium but he's getting hunted down.

Glad Nibali wasn't penalized that 20 seconds. This would be a good time for him to torment Wiggo if he can.

True. Could have just been taking it easy towards the top knowing he could get back on. Going to be a tough one for him after his effort yesterday though.

I'd say pretty much, yes.

His move looked finished on top of San Lorenzo, but now Moreno looks dangerous once more.

Also, the speakers at the finish are playing Dancing Queen. Any chance of me ever going to see the Vuelta in person just died.

Universalsports interviewing Tyler during descent. Tyler: "honestly, it was poor judgment on my part. I thought i saw an opening that was big enough and it turns out it wasn't."

Argh! It's the Galibier all over again.
If the favourites leave the Carrots in charge of the chase, they are doomed.
Moreno to take big time back.:D
